Frontier Fiesta is a campus wide event for raising scholarship money.  It is produced by the Frontier Fiesta Committee run by University of Houston student.

A main feature of Frontier Fiesta is fraternities pairing with sororities to produce a variety show.  The various groups are judged in many areas: first front up, best front, the variety show, and so forth.

All are competing for the Koppel Cup, the grand prize.

These are some photos of the variety show and from the alumni sponsored "Front Porch" providing food, shelter, various games, and general camaraderie between shows.  Alumni return every year to meet the undergraduates, reunite with Sig Eps from their undergrad gays, and recall the "back in our day" stories about Frontier Fiesta.
